Marco Guadarrama is a Mexican designer, researcher, and equity leader based in Sweden. For over a decade, he has worked across cultures to explore how design can make everyday life more inclusive and meaningful. His work lives at the intersection of people, homes, and technology, shaped by deep curiosity and the many communities that have influenced him.
Marco leads multicultural inclusion at IKEA and is currently pursuing a PhD at RMIT University, where his research explores what smart design means for the future of home and living.
Through products, experiences, and now systems change, his practice is rooted in care, participation, and a belief in doing work that helps people and ideas grow.
