What is the Creative Lunch Club?

The Creative Lunch Club is a community for people working in the creative industries. We match you with two other creatives from your city once a month so you can meet for lunch. No boring networking events, just a good conversation over a meal.

Who is it for?

Anyone working in the creative industries: graphic designers, illustrators, photographers, filmmakers, art directors, copywriters, marketers, architects, UX designers, and more. If creativity is at the heart of your work, you belong here.

Which cities are available?

The Creative Lunch Club is active in over 100 cities worldwide, including most major cities in Europe, the USA, and Australia. You can find the full list on our Cities page.

How do I meet other creatives with Creative Lunch Club?

There are two ways to meet other creatives as a Creative Lunch Club member.

Matching: Once a month you get matched with two other members. You set up a time and place yourselves and have lunch together. Small, intimate, and a great way to really connect. You can pause matching anytime in the member area.

Meetups: Slightly bigger gatherings with a fixed time, place, and a dedicated host. A great way to meet even more people. You'll find them in your member area, and we'll notify you when a new one is happening in your city.

How does the matching work?

Every month we match you with two other creatives from your city. You receive an email introducing you to your lunch partners. From there, you coordinate directly with them to pick a time and place that works for everyone.

When will I be matched for the first time?

As soon as you sign up, you're in the matching pool and we'll match you as soon as we can. In the best case that's within a day or two. Sometimes it takes a little longer, because we also need other available members who haven't been matched yet that month.

What happens during the lunch?

Whatever you like. There are no rules, no agenda, and no structured format. Most people talk about their work, current projects, what inspires them, and what they enjoy. Some end up collaborating. Others simply enjoy a good conversation.

What if I cannot make it to a lunch?

Life happens. Just let your lunch partners know as early as possible. There is no penalty for missing a lunch. You will be matched with new people the following month.

Can I change my location when I'm abroad?

Yes, you can change your city from month to month in the member area. It's a great way to meet creatives in other cities, but only switch if you'll be there for more than a few days, otherwise it can be hard to arrange a lunch with your matches. You'll always be matched for whichever city is in your profile when the next matching happens.

What are meetups?

In addition to the monthly matching in groups of three, we host meetups in larger groups with a fixed date, time, and location. These are a great way to meet even more creatives and be part of the wider community. As a member, meetups are free to attend. Here you’ll find all upcoming meetups.

Can I participate in meetups in other cities than my own?

Absolutely. If you happen to be in another city when a meetup is on, you're welcome to sign up. You'll find all meetups on our meetups page or in the member area.

How can I cancel my participation in a meetup I signed up for?

You can cancel your spot anytime in the member area under your upcoming meetups, or via the cancel link in your confirmation email. Please cancel as early as you can so someone on the waitlist can take your place. If you bought a paid ticket, reach out to the host directly.

How much does membership cost?

Membership costs 7.50 € per month, or 15 € for three months. Both plans give you one matching per month with two other creatives in your city.

How can I change my data?

You can update all your details anytime in the member area.

Can I pause my membership?

Yes. You can pause your matching at any time in the member area. While paused, your subscription continues but you will not be matched that month. You can resume whenever you are ready.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, you can cancel at any time in the member area. You can either cancel immediately or let your membership run until the end of the current billing period.
