This special edition of the Creative Lunch Club, in collaboration with Yaar, is designed for creatives who are new to New York. We’re bringing together 6 creatives for a cozy lunch at Rosemary’s in Greenwich Village. It's your chance to meet like-minded people, share ideas, have meaningful conversations, and maybe even make new friends. Come join us around the table and connect with other creatives new to the city.
Please note: You’ll pay for your lunch at the restaurant.
This lunch is designed for creatives who are new to New York. Please only get a ticket if that’s you. We’ll host another lunch for all New Yorkers soon.
Soumya Gupta is a visual designer based in New York City who understands the challenge of finding community in a new place. After moving around frequently throughout her life, she created Yaar, a platform that helps newcomers connect with others who've been in their shoes and build their first community in their new city. As an extroverted creative and community builder, Soumya is passionate about bringing together fellow creatives over shared interests and good conversations.
Established in 2012, Rosemary's flagship restaurant in the West Village stands as a beloved staple of the community. Delight in our seasonal and sustainable Italian menu, highlighting produce sourced from our rooftop garden, alongside our signature fresh pasta, crafted in-house. Located in the heart of Manhattan's iconic West Village dining scene, we extend a warm invitation to experience our rooftop garden upstairs, where you can enjoy the view of Jefferson Clock Tower and Jefferson Market Garden.
Creative Lunch Club is a global community that brings creatives together for lunch.
Whether you are a graphic designer, a photographer, an artist, or a filmmaker, the Creative Lunch Club gives you the chance to regularly meet other creatives in your city for lunch.
My first lunch was with Lea & Caroline, NYC designers like me and it was great to meet them outside of work in a casual setting. Creative Lunch Club does the hard part of linking me up with others when otherwise, I’d be so focused on work that I wouldn’t have the energy to find like-minded people. And you make new friends.
I am an East London girl with a busy life and have found it hard to meet like-minded creatives but after only using the creativelunchclub once, I met one of my soul mates. Not only are we doing some collaborating with her being a singer and myself working in fashion and modelling which has all been really useful but we have also become best friends. Loved my experience and would highly recommend it for anyone that wants to network in the creative ares and you never know, you might meet your bestie too.
I love to get inspired by fellow creatives and the Creative Lunch Club makes this easy for me. The conversations during these lunches have always an energizing impact on me.
